Tunisia-Abdelkarim Harouni: Ennahdha’s children will be on the ground to support security forces

Provocative statements were made yesterday by the chairman of the Shoura council  Abdelkarim Harouni

Speaking on Zitouna TV, Harouni commented on last night clashes by stating that  “the children of Ennahdha will be on the ground to support the efforts of the security forces and protect the neighbourhoods”.

Harouni, in fact, ensured that his movement had succeeded in maintaining its internal conflicts through the election of a new executive board while upholding the structures of the movement and its rules. “We will likewise succeed in managing social movements and disputes. The children of Ennahdha will be on the ground to support the efforts of the security forces. ”

The Nahdhaoui leader denounced the acts of vandalism and looting, believing that the minors involved in the nightly protests are employed by bankrupt political parties, with no weight on the ground.
