Tunisia- Abdelkrim Harouni requests president Kais Saied to intervene over expulsion policy

Ennahdha‘s Shura Council Abdelkrim Harouni requested President Kais Siaed official interference to solve the expulsion of major political parties with significant parliamentary representation in reference to Qalb Tounes and El Karama coalition.

It is essential to provide space for Elected political parties to decide whether or not they will participate in the government on the basis of its vision and evaluating its programs, said Harouni during a press conference.

He stressed that separation shouldn’t be made between political parties. Ennahdha denounces mutual recriminations between political parties which disrupts the political arena and preclude earnest work for the next phase, he added.
