Tunisia-Abdellatif Mekki: I requested a Decree to punish anyone that doesn’t wear masks but was rejected

Speaking to Express FM, former minister of health Abdellatif Mekki disclosed that during the last ministerial council meetings he requested a decree to punish anyone that doesn’t wear a mask but the proposal was rejected.

The whole world has agreed to the lockdown, some applied it other didn’t,Mekki said. He pointed out that Tunisia imposed the lockdown in the right time, adding that closure of borders was a stipulation of hitting the lines of the supply for COVDI-19.

The same source added that Tunisia has a positive reputation in the world, if airports and borders are opened, maybe Tunisia will be a good destination.
