Tunisia-Abdellatif Mekki: Identification of coronavirus DNA sequences at Charles Nicolle laboratory

A laboratory at Charles Nicolle succeeded in identifying the DNA sequencing of the new coronavirus, announced Health minister Abdellatif Mekki.

This discovery is a distinguished honour for Tunisia and it will allow us to analyse the virus in Tunisia with the various viruses that emerged in other countries like China, France, Italy, since it has mutated, he said in a statement to Mosaique FM.

Minster Mekki congratulated Mrs Ilhem Boutiba and her team that are responsible for this discovery.
