Former health minister Abdellatif Mekki affirmed that political loosening has impacted preparations for the second wave of the coronavirus.
Speaking to Shems FM, Mr Mekki declared that “politics are having a tremendous consequence on preparations because it is the administration that is leading the crisis.”
He added that “Tunisia succeeded in fighting the first wave because the government group and the scientific committee were doing complementary work.”
