Tunisia-Abid Briki: Ennahdha will never return to power even if the referendum fails

The secretary-general of “Tunisie en Avant” movement, Abid Briki, said that the Ennahdha movement will never return to power even if the July 25 referendum fails. He told a radio that if the referendum fails, the decrees will continue to work until the next legislative and presidential elections.

Briki said that was against the resignation of the Head of State in the event of the failure of the referendum, in order to maintain the general interest of Tunisia. “Voting yes is a bitter option… but it is the best thing to get us out of the crisis,” he said.
