Tunisia-Abid Briki: I will decrease the President’s salary to half if elected

In an exclusive interview with “Tunisie Numérique,” Presidential candidate Abid Briki asserted that there are multiple solutions to get Tunisia out of its economic crises. Briki revealed that the government needs to commence a policy austerity and reduce salaries and privileges given to ministers and officials. Briki pledged to minimise the president’s salary to half if he wins the presidency. Moreover, he stressed that his cabinet will see a diversity of gender and quality for women.
