Tunisia-Abir Moussi calls for reformation of the code of local authorities

The president of the Free Destourien Party, Abir Moussi evoked on  October 26, 2020, to reform the code of local authorities.

Moussi stated the current version of the law was approved with the single aim of “weakening the state and its unity”, relating to the way in which decentralization is regulated by this code.

She further said that the law on local authorities posed a number of difficulties in its application, pointing out that several municipal councils have dissolved and that others are considering dissolution.
