The PDL today slammed on the sidelines of its participation in the protest held this morning in Montplaisir the 2022 draft finance law drawn up by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied.
Abir Moussi revealed that the Head of State issued this project in the dark corridors without having to resort to professional organizations or to the different components of civil society. She added that the said project takes no interest in the need to carry out actual sustainable development projects for the country. No strategy was cited in this project to attract foreign investors, she said. “
This Finance Bill 2022 does not provide any interest in advancing the agribusiness sector or setting in place a new tourism reform plan,” she said. Moussi explained that the State does not aim to improve the political environment of the country nor to secure political stability in order to guarantee the return of investors but it only aims to preserve its political interests referring to the President of the Republic.
The president of the PDL has in the same line of ideas criticised the absence of an independent judiciary and a permanent political regime favouring investment.
