Tunisia-Abir Moussi denounces meeting of Parliament’s office without a quorum

PDL leader  Abir Moussi stated that the office of the House of people representatives would vote for exceptional measures for the continuity of work in Parliament, without having reached the needed quorum.

Speaking in a video posted on her official page, at the meeting in question, MPs were assumed to vote face-to-face. Nevertheless, Ennahdha MPs and their partners did not notify the other members of the meeting.

As Abir Moussi joined, some of the deputies present communicated Nahdhaoui MP Naoufel Jammalli to participate in the remote voting, in total opposition to the procedural rules, according to Moussi.

She also informed that thanks to her intervention, the session was concluded before the passage of the said measures, denouncing at the same time the politicization of the administration of the parliament by the parties in power.
