Tunisia-Abir Moussi :The parliamentary office supports violence and presents it with the means to remain

The parliamentary bureau rejected during its meeting on October 22, 2020, to denounce the physical and verbal violence committed against certain MPs, such as Abir Moussi, Mustafa Ben Ahmed and Samira Sayhi, by the president of the Al Karama bloc Seif Eddine Makhlouf .

Even more, the office concluded that a new commission will be created to examine “violence against members of the Al Karama coalition”, President of the Free Destourien Party Abir Moussi announced.

The PDL published a video condemning the decision, recalling the breaches of honour suffered by Abir Moussi and the throwing of a bottle of water at Samira Sayhi, not to mention the verbal violence against Mustafa Ben Ahmed.

The PDL president also denounced “the silence of certain progressive MPs in the face of this masquerade”, in particular Samia Abbou, who was present at the meeting yesterday.
