Tunisia-Abir Moussi: They want to shut me out from presidential elections

PDL leader Abir Moussi rejected the new electoral law clarifying that it threatens women’s rights in the country.

According to Moussi, the law violates article 51 of the new Constitution and undermines the accomplishments of women.

“The principle of parity will not be respected with the new law and to add that we will not have a parliament but rather a choura council. They desire to minimize the role played by women in political life. Besides, they seek to shut me out from presidential elections, “she revealed.
