Tunisia-Abir Moussi wants to withdraw confidence from Mechichi government

PDL leader Abir Moussi, declared that her parliamentary bloc will offer to other blocs a motion to withdraw confidence from prime minister Hichem Mechichi government.

She said the PDL will demand a session with the rest of the parliamentary blocs and the civil forces in order to pick a new name which would be an alternative to the prime minister and “would not be subjected to the will of the Muslim Brotherhood party. », In reference to the Ennahdha movement.

During a parliamentary day held on Sunday, January 24, 2021, Moussi alluded to her party’s plan to protest against all parties and blocs that decline to adopt constitutional mechanisms to overthrow the current system of government.

She reiterated the call for deputies to sign a petition to withdraw the confidence of house speaker Rached Ghannouchi, whose presence at the head of the parliament, according to her, represents an “obstacle” to responding to the demands of the Tunisian people.
