Tunisia-Access to information authority compels UGTT to disclose its financial accounts

The Access to information authority will be obliging the Tunisian General Labour Union” UGTT” to disclose its financial accounts following former deputy Imed Daïmi call for the authority to inquire about the UGTT  financials.

Under the framework of transparency and accountability Concerning work of unions and following provisions 32 and 35 of the constutio , The UGTT is compelled to provide the requetse data.

The authority has further issued 42 rulings on claims related to the refusal of access to information, including those filed against the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT).
