Tunisia-Accusations against Bhiri: Ennahdha reacts following the death of a captain of the national guard

Ennahdha slammed the smear campaigns, the incitement to hatred and the acts of violence against the party, its supporters and its leaders as well as the condemnation of an imaginary crime which were at the origin of the fires in its seats on July 25. The party has revealed that it will sue all parties that spread wrong information calling on the judiciary to quickly fix these cases.

According to the same source, the delay in responding to certain legal cases has prompted some people to accuse party leader Noureddine Bhiri of being behind the demise of a security official and of implicating him in a case of giving a taxi license. ” Noureddine Bhiri has no relationship with this case ” reads the same press release.

The party called on the Ministry of the Interior to provide clarification on this subject, expressing its worry regarding the existence of a plan to prepare public opinion for the announcement of Bhiri’s death. It demanded in the same context the release of the former Minister of Justice.
