Echaâb Yourid party expressed its satisfaction with the responsiveness of the legal authorities concerning the opening of inquiries and the processing of some cases following the activation of Article 80 of the Constitution. The party, therefore, called on the judges to assume their responsibility for upholding the principle of independence.
It further recalled that Presidential Chief of Staff Nadia Akacha did not appear before the investigating judge in relationship with the poisoned envelope case. Evoking that a complaint was lodged against the latter by the former United Nations ambassador, Echaâb Yourid called on the prosecution to apply the law and issue a warrant against Akacha.
