Tunisia-Admiral Kamel Akrout: It’s time to save the country

In a post published yesterday on his official page, Admiral Kamel Akrout addressed the general situation in the country identified by the absence of indicators of reformations and the multiplicity of political disputes to the detriment of the interests of the nation and People.

According to the same source, Akrout spoke of the continuous crises of governance in the country as well as the ineffective political system that created a political class whose only interest is to monopolize power.

He further highlighted the degeneration of the purchasing power of citizens, the collapse of economic indicators and the consequences of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Given the specificity of the situation, Akrut has declared that it is time to save the country through several reforms.

It is a matter of communicating an audit of accounts in many areas, particularly concerning public finances, clearing the country of the grabbing of certain parties and restoring sovereignty to the people.

Akrout has additionally called to get Tunisia out of chaos and corruption by applying the law.
