Afek Tounes has professed its intent to appeal against the preliminary results of the referendum of July 25.
In a press release published this Friday, July 29, 2022, the party clarified this decision to “the serious breaches and shortcomings documented during the electoral process in addition to the confusion of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE), during the said process.
Afek Tounes also condemned the various positions and declarations of the President of the Republic which harm the unity of the State and seek to dismantle its institutions.
In this context, it called on all parties to avoid speech inciting hatred, while cautioning against such statements which only divide Tunisians.
