Tunisia-Afek Tounes calls for the appointment of a prime minister with an Economic background

Aftek Tounes issued a press release on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, urged the President of the Republic to accelerate the appointment of a prime minister with an economic background.

Emphasizing that the next government should be small and economically oriented, the party stressed the vital necessity to develop a roadmap in collaboration with political parties and components of civil society.

Afek Tounes likewise called for the application of the law in cases related to terrorism, corruption, electoral, economic and public crimes and break with all kinds of impunity. The party similarly denounced the statements of the President of the Republic about some ministers stressing that the dismissal of state agents should be done in accordance without violating the dignity of persons.

Afek Tounes, at the same time, condemned the “irresponsible” remarks of certain leaders of Ennahdha to the international media.
