Tunisia-Ahmed Adhoum : We support decisions to close mosques to prevent COVID-19

Speaking to Mosaique FM, The Minister of Religious Affairs, Ahmed Adhoum, confirmed while honouring a child who has memorized the Qur’an, that the central authority supports regional decisions related to the closure of mosques in the framework of preventing the spread of the Coronavirus.

He said that the ministry will soon start preparing for the next Hajj season, announcing that priority will be given to those who drew on the Hajj lists last season.

He also favoured the possibility of reviewing the candidacy conditions according to the conditions that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will request and the health conditions in Tunisia that may be imposed by COVID-19.
