Tunisia-Al-Bour: “IPSI’s partnerships with organizations supporting Zionist entity terminated since beginning of year” [Video]

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Institute of Press and Information Sciences(IPSI) diretcor, Dr. Hamida Al-Bour stated that the movement of the Institute’s students and the sit-in that they have been carrying out since the start of this week is legitimate because it supports the Palestinian people, and it is against all forms of violence to which the Palestinian people are exposed and against the war on Gaza and the slaying of children, women and civilians, which continued for months with no prospect of a solution.

Al-Bour confirmed that the IPSI position, its administration, professors and employees, are principled, and since the start of this academic year, collaborations with organizations that openly support the Zionist entity have been terminated, and this was done during the last scientific council. Choosing not to deal with her in the future, remarking that the issue is not circumstantial.

The Director added that it was also determined to stop programmed activities with organizations surrounding suspicions of dealing with the occupying entity and problems in the agreements concluded with them.

The spokeswoman pointed out that a significant solidarity stand will be organized today at the University of Manouba, within the framework of the global student movement.

As for the date of the exams, which were boycotted by the students due to the sit-in, the director of the institute clarified that they will be rescheduled after agreement with the students, and the dates for them will be announced soon.
