Al Joumhouri Party requested Prime Minister-designate Elyes Fakhfakh and his government to look past the obstacles confronted during the government formation process and to operate on enhancing the living circumstances of Tunisians to retrieve their confidence.
“The accord between the political parties forming the government should not be established at the expense of national priorities,” declared a statement by the party.
Fakhfakh unveiled his government line-up on Wednesday night, after lengthy consultations, in an atmosphere of distrust between the parties concerned,” the statement said.
Al-Joumhouri denounced that negotiations were focused on ministerial portfolios rather than government reformations and programmes.
