Tunisia-Al Massar: The decree-law on the ISIE is one more step towards a unilateral project

Al Massar criticised the decree-law on the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) emphasising that the institution in question is an accomplishment of the revolution. According to the same source, the promulgation of this decree-law is solely one more step towards the unilateral project of the President of the Republic Kais Saïed. Al Massar confirmed that the exclusion of political parties, national organizations, as well as civil society, will just confirm the establishment of a tailor-made project. The party likewise considered that this decision will place the entire electoral process under the control of Kais Saïed.
