Speaking to Tunisie Numerique, head of the Tunisian Organization for Consumer Guidance, Lotfi Riahi, condemned the infractions perpetrated by some members of major commercial areas about the sale of olive oil priced at 15 dinars, and other subsidized consumer goods, in addition to keeping these materials either for themselves or for members of their families instead.
Al-Riyahi declared that the organization noticed and obtained complaints about all of these violations and some of them were even divulged on social media. He stressed that the Ministry of Commerce and the oversight bodies had been notified of all of these violations, particularly about olive oil, with a positive response, as the monitoring teams were intensified and the volume of quantities boosted in several states.
A decision was furthermore made to provide this material at a differential price of 15 dinars throughout the year.
