An aggressive passenger on a flight from Tunisair connecting Istanbul to Tunis compelled, this Monday, the crew to land in Thessaloniki in Greece.
According to Mosaique, the passenger was extremely alcoholic. He had very aggressive behaviour towards the onboard attendants because he did not appreciate the dish served. The captain, accordingly, opted for the application of the security protocol by landing at the nearest airport in Thessaloniki in Greece.
The police evacuated the undesirable person and a complaint was filed against him by the captain.
According to the same sources, the Tunisair company has filed a complaint with the public prosecutor at the Tunis court of first instance but this unwanted passenger is still upon arrest in Greece.
According to the AFP agency, the man in his forties was convicted for drug trafficking in Greece, according to local authorities.
In pre-trial detention, he must appear on Tuesday at the Thessaloniki court to notably risk passengers and crew members.
