Mandated by the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algeria’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf arrived this morning in Tunis for an official visit to Tunisia.
According to the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ official Facebook page, the minister will be welcomed by the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, during his trip and will hold a working meeting with his Tunisian counterpart, Mohamed Ali Nafti.
This visit is part of the joint efforts made by Algeria and Tunisia to strengthen their strategic partnership and deepen the complementarity between the two countries. It also seeks to explore new avenues of cooperation, regarding the historical ties of fraternity, solidarity, and good neighborliness that unite the two nations. According to the same source, the visit responds to the common ambitions set by Presidents Tebboune and Saïed for an ever-closer rapprochement between Algeria and Tunisia.
