Tunisia – Ali Kooli: The government has no magic wand

The Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Kooli has affirmed that the situation is critical, adding that the government has assisted the poorest categories by repaying bonuses for companies in distress as well as citizens in precarious situations. He pointed out that he comprehends it was not enough, but that is all the government can do.

Kooli added that he understands the demands of young people, but that the administration has no magic wand, to fulfil them in a matter of weeks
