Tunisia-Alicante case: Youssef Chahed breaks his silence

Former prime minister and President of Tahya Tounes party, Youssef Chahed, categorically dismissed his involvement in the famous money laundering case associated to the acquisition of luxury real estate in the Spanish province of Alicante by Tunisian figures. He affirmed that the news communicated by certain parties in which he was to which he was heard by the investigating judge in the financial and economic judicial pole has no basis.

In a Facebook post, he announced that he filed a lawsuit against I Watch, considering that the latter had been carrying out an organized smear campaign against him for some time.

He further confirmed that the organization continues to spread rumours aimed at damaging the reputation of certain people and misleading public opinion.

Youssef Chahed ended by recalling that the Alicante case was raised in January 2020 when he was  prime minister.
