Tunisia-Amal Saidi: Mechichi refuses to give up power

Democratic bloc MP Amal Saidi criticized the attitude of prime minister Hichem Mechichi, which only encourages those who dream of a salary rise, subsidies or a job to put stress on the administration while knowing full well that it will finally give in.

The MP indicated in a Facebook post that despite his awareness of the situation in the nation, Hichem Mechichi does not cease signing deals in order to please all the parties which will generate even more strikes and affect the proper functioning of the State.

She added that the PM does not desire to relinquish power and that his single objective is to satisfy the political parties that support him.
