Tunisie Numérique had the honour to conduct an exclusive interview with Indonesia’s ambassador to Tunisia Mr Zuhairi Al-Masrawy.
His excellency affirmed that Cooperation between Tunisia and Indonesia has really improved due to the long history between the two countries, from leaders Bourgiba and Sukarno to this day.
Mr Al-Masrawy said that the trade exchange between the two countries is 20 million dollars annually with 160 million last year an improvement he says. There is immense room to improve and strengthen bilateral relations, especially in the field of economy, he added.
Our speaker added that Tunisia’s export to Indonesia is ranked third among first Arab countries, first Egypt, and second Saudi Arabia “we want Tunisia to be in the first place, and in the Indonesian Embassy in Tunisia. We are cooperating on improving and developing export to Indonesia. Exporting dates, olive oil and phosphate is a great opportunity, Mr Al-Al Masrawy said.
“In the past, we import many phosphate and marine products, and many other things can be exported to Indonesia”, adds our guest.
