Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nabil Ammar, partook in the consultation meeting in New York, concerning the implementation of the fund for losses and damages due to climate change, decided at COP 27. He confirmed that Tunisia is among the first countries most impacted by climate change, the fallout of which endangers its food and water security.
He added that the implementation of the compensation fund is a priority issue for developing countries to secure environmental justice. He called on donor parties to contribute the required funds for this implementation.
