Tunisia – Amnesty International calls for the immediate release of Yassine Ayari
Amnesty International evoked that MP Yassine Ayari is serving a jail sentence, which dates from 2018, for “attacking the national army” since July 28.
The organization pointed out that the MP is under attack in several other military lawsuits, due to posts he posted on social media.T
The organization calls for the MP’s immediate release and the end of other charges against him, recalling that Yassine Ayari has always been known for his outspokenness.
