Tunisia and Syria willing to cement diplomatic ties and boost cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar had a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad during which they highlighted the close historic ties between the two countries.

The two parties expressed common will to expand bilateral cooperation.

The Syrian Foreign Minister pointed out that Syria appreciates President Kais Saied’s decision to appoint a Tunisian ambassador in Syria, laying emphasis on this significant move in cementing ties between the two countries.
