Tunisia-Appeal launched to 3,000 Tunisian doctors abroad to fight Covid-19 in Tunisia

The Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi launched an appeal, this Tuesday, November 3, 2020, to around 3,000 Tunisian doctors living abroad to deal with the current shortage of resuscitators and anaesthetists.

He said about 3,000 Tunisian doctors abroad have been contacted to return to Tunisia on a temporary basis (6 months) in order to help their country fight the coronavirus, reports Mosaique FM.

He added that these doctors will be offered advantages such as free transport via the Tunisair company and that duty stations will be available for 300 specialists.
