Tunisia-Arbitrary administration of 100,000 doses of Chinese vaccine: the Ministry of Health explains

The Director of Basic Health Ahlem Gzara commented on the last statement of I Watch condemning the arbitrary management of 100,000 doses of the Chinese Vaccine Sinovac.

Speaking to a private radio,Gzara stated that if ever any favouritism has been registered, it could only be a “human mistake” and not an error in the EVAX vaccination system.

She evoked that Tunisia had received formal correspondence from China declaring the sending of 200,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine distributed as follows: 100,000 doses for the profit of the Ministry of Health and 100,000 other doses given by the Chinese defence to its Tunisian counterpart.

Asserting that doses for the Ministry of Health have been utilised, Gzara stated that the Ministry of Defense has only taken 40,000 doses. She likewise decided to put 40,000 at the disposal of the Ministry of the Interior and 20,000 doses at the disposal of the customs and the security agents of Carthage and Kasbah.
