Citizens of Ennkhilet, Ghazela and cityAriana Essoughra (Governorate of Ariana) voiced their dissatisfaction with the harmful gases emanating from sewage and blackwater discharged from domestic installations. These unpleasant smells have caused a lack of oxygen, caused severe respiratory problems in the inhabitants of the aforementioned areas and even generated sleep disorders.
According to them, the National Sanitation Office has linked the domestic wastewater network to the rainwater drainage network, which is normally open sewers. They stated that these sewers attract numerous insects, poisoning their lives by causing various illnesses. The residents called on the supervisory authorities (the Ministry of the Environment, ONAS, the municipality of Raoued, the governor of Ariana and the ministry of health) to take the issue seriously and put an end to this disaster environment as soon as possible. It should be mentioned that a petition has been launched to collect the signatures of the inhabitants of the areas most affected by this environmental scourge.
