Tunisia – Ariana: ICU unit is reaching saturation point

Head of the emergency department at Abderrahmen Mami hospital in Ariana, Rafik Boujdaria, declared on Saturday that the hospital’s ICU unit had reached saturation point, with the 16 patients admitted in the unit.

Boujdaria pointed out that the other departments of the hospital have 40 patients hospitalized in oxygen beds. This increases fears of the saturation of hospitals as the nation is entering what seems to be the third wave of the pandemic.
