Tunisia – Arrest of Slim Chiboub in case linked to terrorism

The son-in-law of the former president, Zine el Abidine ben Ali, Slim Chiboub, was arrested and imprisoned. This was part of an inquiry conducted by the first investigating judge of the Anti-Terrorism Judicial Unit, in connection with an attorney suspected of terrorism.

The judge in charge of the investigation authorized the arrest of Slim Chiboub, pending the end of the investigation.
