The Indictment Chamber of the Tunis Court of Appeal has decided to refer businessman Marouane Mabrouk to the Criminal Chamber responsible for financial corruption cases, and an arrest warrant has been issued, Mosaique FM reported.
This decision follows the closure of an inquiry by the investigating judge of the Judicial and Financial Center in a case where Mabrouk is implicated for alleged financial corruption in a commercial company. This recent committal warrant is the second, with the first issued on November 16 in connection with another case.
