Tunisian authorities have issued arrest warrants for former Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, former Minister Mabrouk Korchid, and Adel Grar, former Director General of Karama Holding, as part of an investigation into alleged financial and administrative corruption implicating assets frozen abroad belonging to a Tunisian businessman.
A Case Involving Former High-Ranking Officials
The Specialized Financial Corruption Chamber at the Tunis Court of Appeal has referred the case to the Criminal Chamber of the Court of First Instance of Tunis. The investigation targets over a dozen former senior government officials, including several ministers from prior administrations.
