Tunisia – Arrests and drug seizures in security campaign in Marsa-Gammarth area

Security units, in coordination with the Al Gorjani Judicial Police Directorate, were able to confiscate considerable quantities of cannabis and cocaine following an extensive security campaign organized today near tourist institutions, clubs and nightclubs in Marsa, Gammarth and Bhar Lazrag.

The available data reveals that, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance of Tunis, the security units affiliated with the Directorate of the Judicial Police of Al-Gorjani, in coordination with the units of the National Security district of Carthage, organized a targeted and expanded security campaign. This campaign started today, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at five a.m., targeting the surroundings of tourist institutions, lounges, and nightclubs in Marsa, Gammarth, and Bhar Lazrag.

 
 

More than ten people were apprehended, in addition to dozens of marijuana plates and more than a pound of cocaine seized.
