A new batch of seasonal flu vaccines has been received by the Central Pharmacy of Tunisia (PCT), confirms Naoufel Amira, secretary-general of the Union of Pharmacy Owners.
Pending the organization of the process, the distribution of vaccines to private pharmacies has not yet started, adds Amira, who noted that pharmacists are awaiting recommendations from the Ministry of Health regarding the sale.
Invited on the Watania 1 channel on the evening of Sunday, November 1, 2020, Amira renewed the refusal of pharmacies to the decision concerning the need to present a prescription for a vaccine against the seasonal flu.
“This measure cannot be the solution because the number of vaccines available may be less than demand,” he explains.
