Coffee, sugar and tea expeditions are beginning to arrive, today, Friday, October 11, 2024, according to what was confirmed by the deputy director general of the Tunisian trade office, Sami Bouaziz.
In a statement on national radio, Sami Bouaziz acknowledged that there was a shortage of several products, including rice, tea and coffee, and attributed this to a logistical problem outside the office.
He stated that from today, a cargo of 500 tonnes of tea and a cargo of 500 tonnes of coffee will arrive, and it noted that 3,000 tonnes will arrive successively by the end of November.
He added that the process of distributing these products will start next week.
Concerning sugar, Bouaziz said that the amounts available cover the needs.
