The Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi moved to Rades port of Radès on Saturday, May 8, 2021, to receive a new cargo of oxygen. The delivery is part of Tunisia’s plan to boost oxygen supply to address the shortfall in national production. This is rated at 100 thousand litres per day, while the daily demand is 170 thousand litres.
Mr Mehdi confirmed that the ministry is operating to enhance the strategic oxygen reserve and that imports will be increased to supply the various health establishments as soon as possible.
