A passenger inspection squad at Tunis-Carthage airport foiled an attempt to smuggle 150 rounds of bullets hidden tightly inside a digital receiver.
The customs office announced that the operation took place after the luggage of a Tunisian traveller residing abroad, coming from a European country, was subjected to close inspection.
A violation has been filed for attempting to supply without notification forbidden goods. The person in question was referred to the relevant security services at Tunis Carthage Airport to continue research.
