Tunisia-[Audio] Hechmi Louzir: Testing for COVID 19 using RT PCR will be conducted for these people

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique Director of Pastour institute Hechmi Louzir affirmed that the health ministry made a resolution not to perform PCR analyzes for all suspected persons with the Coronavirus, and also after conducting extensive investigations.

Our speaker pointed out that the people concerned with those tests are those with COVID-19 symptoms and also people who are very close to the vicinity of the person infected with this virus and not all those in contact.

The aim of this procedure is to reduce the spread of the virus while ut taking into account the material and human capabilities of the Ministry of Health and the Tunisian state, he said.

The health minister will announce these procedures in the coming period, he added.
