Tunisia- [Audio] Mohamed Abbou : We are determined to have a place in the government that will enable us to fight corruption

Secretary-General of the Democratic Current Mohamed Abbou expressed party firm desire to have a position in the next government that will allow them to enforce the law and fight corruption.

On the sidelines of the Democratic Current National Council extraordinary session held in Sousse on the party ‘s orientation regarding its participation in the government, Abbou affirmed in a declaration to Tunisie Numérique that his party will go through this round of negotiations . He stressed that his party have yet to determine which ministerial portfolios the desire to occupy.

Abbou said that they didn’t oppose PM Elyes Fakhfakh as no one has complained about him for not serving his country or being corrupted. He also regarded PM Fakhfakh exclusion of Heart of Tunisia and the Free Destourian Party from the government coalition to be reasonable
