Tunisia-[Audio] Rim Mourali:Today, Hichem Mechichi must shift from slogan to action

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, President of the Tunisian Independence Party and activist Rim Mourali stressed that  Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi’s speech to the House of people representatives carried a share of “frankness”, however, it remains lacking.

The PM submitted a standard examination that lacks answerability to restore credibility and confidence in the power of the state and its resolve to build the rule of law and institutions, Mrs Mourali said, Commanding his speech as “political ” and “competent “, which displays his relentless crusade to relieve the situation. She added that the slogans given by Mechichi lack a distinct vision and strengths that impact the citizen and a roadmap to which the Tunisian refers.

“Mechichi articulates well, but his actions are extremely slow. The ends are very good, but we must pass to the activation and implementation of the law, programs and commitments, “she said.

Parties in  Kasba operating against the administration:

Mrs Mourali stated that there are parties in the government and the Kasba operating against the administration and no action has been taken against them.

Demand-driven demonstrations:

In the same context, our speaker pointed out that the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office previously stated that the wave of rallies in many governorates was driven by some individuals, but that no sanctions were inflicted against them.

Likewise, she indicated that not all the demonstrations that have taken place in the nation were spontaneous, adding that there are parties that have hidden agendas.

She moreover said that Tunisians have been fed up with fake empty promises and recurring slogans for 10 years, and they are expecting actions and achievements.
