Tunisia-[Audio] Travellers from certain countries will not be exempt from compulsory quarantine in hotels

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, parliament information and communications officer Maher Medhioub announced that compulsory quarantine in hotels for travellers arriving in Tunisia is unnecessary.

He stated the parties involved, including the Ministry of Health and the National Observatory for New and Emerging Diseases, will issue, in a few hours, a full statement on the categories exempted from compulsory quarantine.

Medhioub added that travellers arriving in Tunisia are asked to present a negative PCR test and self-isolate at their home.

He explained that passengers from some countries are not exempt from compulsory quarantine adding that the scientific committee to fight against the Coronavirus will announce the list of countries in question.
