Tunisia-[AUDIO] UNHCR cancels partnership agreement with the Tunisian Red Crescent

President of the Red Crescent Regional Committee of Medenine Dr.Munji Salim asserted that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has dissolved a partnership agreement with the Tunisian Red Crescent Executive Office.

The cooperative agreement was dissolved due to the Red Crescent apparent failure to properly pay the shelter’s rent and the local employees’ wages.

Munji Salim declared that the happening wouldn’t have any profound effect on the refugees. Moreover, the UNHCR has partnered with the Tunisian Council for Refugees who will properly carry out the same tasks as the Tunisian Red Crescent.
